From deposit to delivery — what to expect
After your deposit clears at the first Shopify Checkout, Client Care emails tracked, insured shipping instructions for ashes or hair. The balance runs through a second Shopify Checkout only after you confirm production. Milestones post to your trace timeline as purification, growth, cut, grading, and insured shipping progress at our partner laboratory network in Henan, China — under RisenGem's written quality and custody specifications.
Deposit confirmation & shipping instructions
After your deposit clears at the first Shopify Checkout, Client Care emails tracked, insured shipping instructions and labeling guidance so you can send ashes or hair safely—there is no separate retail welcome kit product. The balance is collected later through a second Shopify Checkout, after we confirm production with you.

Milestone: deposit received. Materials shipping instructions issued. No growth-related lab work is scheduled until the deposit clears.
Carbon purification & rough growth
We isolate carbon from ashes or hair for growth in our partner laboratory network in Henan. Much elemental carbon burns off during cremation, but carbonates in bone remain—that is the carbon we extract. This laboratory band (through rough ready for cutting) is typically about 35–40 days lab-side and sits inside a typical 10–12 week deposit-to-delivery path once carriers and your balance checkout are included.

Milestone: carbon purified to growth feedstock. Rough memorial crystal growth underway at the partner laboratory under RisenGem specifications.
Planning cut & finishing
Once rough is ready, planners map inclusions and choose the cut that preserves clarity. Cutting, optional color treatment, independent grading, and setting are executed by vetted partners under the same written specifications—not a black box.

Cut, graded, set (as ordered)
Master cutting, independent grading when included in your order (for example IGI), optional coloration for certain colors, and jewelry execution exactly as specified. Geography varies by vendor in the partner network; every step is logged in your trace timeline.

Insured delivery
Your finished memorial diamond ships with tracked, insured carriers. Inspect the package on receipt and keep your grading packet with the stone.
